What happened?
...I never saw the tulips!
Last weekend (May 7-8), was the Tulip Festival here in Albany, New York. I was lucky enough to be invited to sell my pens with another vendor, Judy Eastman. She sells aromatherapy products including lotions, perfumes, sprays and other cool stuff. If I had my way, I would have spent the afternoon putting on lotion, and spraying the air to attract buyers to Judy's table...but I did need to try and sell my pens.
I was a little shy at first, but Judy and my dad encouraged me to talk with the people when they stopped to look. It got a little easier each time I did it. Most of the people were very nice and respectful. Some took my business card and said that they would be interested in buying a pen soon. I only had one person who was not very nice and told me she wouldn't pay $25.00 for a pen. Oh well, that's the way it goes I guess.
Oh, and don't miss my T-shirt! My dad surprised me with a T-shirt with my "Pens Ink" logo on it. Pretty cool, right!!!
