Maker’s Mark is a small batch bourbon whiskey that started production in 1954, but the history of the distillery dates back to the early 1800s with the Samuels family. T.W. Samuels was a third-generation family distiller in the 1860’s. In fact, he persuaded the last of the confederate soldiers, including his nephews Frank and Jesse James to surrender. It was the son of T.W., Bill Samuels, Sr. who reinvented the family whisky from which Maker’s Mark was born.
Pens Ink is proud to offer this unique hand-turned product made from a genuine Maker's Mark Oak Barrel. The barrel was used only once to age the bourbon.
